Parks & Recreation

Three parks are located within the city for your pleasure and recreation

  • Veterans Parks (located near the softball diamonds)
  • Public Square Park (located behind Farmers State Bank area)
  • Schmit (located off Parkview Drive)
  • The River Shelter is available for rent for any special occasion: class reunion, birthday, anniversaries, etc.
  • The ball diamonds and shelter are also availale for rent.

The City of Gilbertville has a Softball Association which hosts the following leagues:

  • Men's Softball League
  • GRW Boy's Little League
  • GRW Girl's Little League
  • GRW T-Ball
