The City of Gilbertville has a volunteer fire department. The members meet the second Thursday of each month. Anyone having any business for the agenda should contact the Fire Department or the Chief directly. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer fire fighter or EMT can stop by City Hall for an application or contact an Officer of the department.
